East Bay Vivarium Visit

May 6, 2017

ECPC was excited to have a visit from our friends at the East Bay Vivarium

This turtle could easily live to be 100 years old!

Both kids and their parents got up close and personal with the reptiles

There were a few brave volunteers! Here is Lily with a small corn snake

She also got to show her Boa Constrictor skills!

Even parents, got in on the fun! Here’s Niko’s mom with the Komodo dragon “puppy”.

Messy Art Day March 19

Join us for our biggest and messiest event of the year!

 

Children 4 and under and their parents are welcome to participate in the fun. Older siblings can participate in activities on Ashbury Street, which will be closed to traffic. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local food trucks.

ECPC’s 3rd Annual Bowl-a-Thon

ECPC participated in our yearly fundraising Bowl-a-Thon event at Albany Bowl. This years event was a Pajama Party theme, which made staying cozy and festive even more fun! Parents were awarded for their early morning  participation with hot coffee and an assortment of yummy treats.

MLK Day Parade

February 1, 2017

ECPC was proud to have participated in this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade, “Enhancing the Dream”.

Our event began over the weekend with a sign making party at the El Cerrito Library.

On the day of the parade, we wore our ECPC gear, held our banner and marched proudly towards El Cerrito High School with many other community members to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
